Chinese Fried Rice

Ingredients

bacon

chicken broth
(or 3 chicken bouillon cubes in 3 cups water)

bean sprouts
drained

garlic salt

cup
almonds
silvered
Instructions
Cook bacon crisp - remove bits and all but ⅓ cup bacon fat.
Add rice and cook over moderate heat til golden brown.
Stirring constantly, add onion and cook 1 minute.
Add bacon and remaining ingredients except almonds.
Bring mixture to boil, reduce heat and cover tightly.
Simmer 20 minutes until rice is tender and liquid is absorbed.
Sprinkle with almonds.
