orange
juice and rind

cranberries
coarsely shopped

salt

nuts
chopped
Instructions
Put 2 tablespoons of shortening in a measuring cup and add enough boiling water to make 3/4 cup.
Add the juice and rind of the orange and egg.
Blend
Add into dry ingredients.
Stir only until the flour is dampened.
Add nuts and cranberries.
Bake at 350° for 60-70 minutes
