Orange Chicken D’veuvre
Ingredients
- 2 cups ground cooked chicken
- ½ cup fine soft bread crumbs
- 1 tsp salt
- ¼ tsp pepper
- 1 tsp minced onion
- 1 egg
- 1 tbsp chicken broth
Orange Sauce
- ½ cup currant jelly
- ½ tsp minced onion
- ¼ tsp tabasco sauce
- ¾ tsp salt
- ½ tsp dry mustard
- ¼ tsp ginger
- 1 tbsp chopped dill (or 1 tsp dried dill weed)
- 1 ½ cups orange juice
- 2 tbsp cornstarch
- 2 tbsp water
Instructions
- Combine all ingredients.
- Form into balls.
- Grease cookie sheet and bake for 15 minutes.
- Serve in chafing dish with orange sauce
Orange Sauce
- Heat ingredients until boiling.½ cup currant jelly, ½ tsp minced onion, ¼ tsp tabasco sauce, ¾ tsp salt, ½ tsp dry mustard, ¼ tsp ginger, 1 tbsp chopped dill, 1 ½ cups orange juice
- Thicken with corn starch.2 tbsp cornstarch, 2 tbsp water
