Shortbread Cookies
Ingredients
- 1 lb butter
- 1 cup powdered sugar sifted
- 3½ cup flour sifted
- ½ cup corn starch sifted
Instructions
- Cream butter and sifted powdered sugar.
- Add sifted flour and sifted corn starch.
- Combine until smooth and consistent.
- Press into a jelly roll pan. Prick with a fork.
- Bake in a 325° oven for 45 minutes, or until lightly golden.
- Cut into serving sizes while still warm. Let cool.
