Asparagus Carrot Casserole
Ingredients
- 1 ½ cups carrots (5 medium) sliced
- 1 medium onion sliced
- 1 10 oz package frozen asparagus
- 3 tbsp butter
- 3 tbsp flour
- 1 ½ cup milk
- 1 cup American cheese shredded
- ¼ tsp salt
- 1 dash pepper
- 1 can french fried onion rings
Instructions
- Cook together until almost tender, drain.1 ½ cups carrots (5 medium), 1 medium onion
- Cook separately until almost tender1 10 oz package frozen asparagus
- Melt together.3 tbsp butter, 3 tbsp flour
- Add1 ½ cup milk
- Remove from heat and make cheese sauce adding1 cup American cheese, ¼ tsp salt, 1 dash pepper
- Place half of the vegetables in the bottom of casserole, then add half of the sauce.
- Repeat layers.
- Top with1 can french fried onion rings
- Bake at 350° for 15-20 minutes or until brown
