Course Dessert

Ingredients
  

  • 2 cake yeast
  • cup butter
  • ¾ cup milk scalded
  • cup sugar
  • 2 tsp grated orange rind
  • 2 eggs
  • 4-4 ½ cups flour

Filling

  • cup butter
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • nuts

Glaze

  • ¼ cup orange juice
  • 3 tbsp sugar

Instructions
 

  • Soften in ¼ cup lukewarm water.
    2 cake yeast
  • Combine ⅓ cup butter with ¾ cup scalded milk in a large bowl.
  • Stir til butter melts and cool til lukewarm.
  • Add ⅓ cup sugar, 2 tsp grated orange peel, 2 unbeaten eggs and yeast mixture.
  • Add flour to make stiff dough.
  • Let raise.
  • Roll out in rectangle.
  • Spread half of dough with nut filling
  • Cut into strips and twist to form rolls
  • Cover and let rise til double.
  • Bake at 375°

Filling

  • Mix butter, powder sugar and nuts

Glaze

  • Brush tops of rolls 5 minutes before done.
