Apple Nut Cheese Cake
Ingredients
- 2 large apples peeled and thin sliced
- 3 tsp butter
- 4 pkgs 8 oz cream cheese
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- ½ tsp nutmeg
- 5 eggs
- ½ cup sour cream
- ½ cup walnuts toasted and chopped
Instructions
- Make graham cracker crust. Put on bottom and sides of pan and bake 5 for minutes at 350°.
- Sauté for five minutes.2 large apples, 3 tsp butter
- Soften cream cheese, add sugar, spices and mix well.
- Add eggs and sour cream and mix well.
- Add cooled apples and nuts and put in pan.
- Bake at 350° for 1 hour with a pan of water on the bottom of the oven to keep cake from cracking.
- Cool completely and refrigerate.
- Top with caramel sauce when serving.
