Peanut Brittle

Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1 cup white syrup
  • 2 cups raw peanuts
  • ½ cup water
  • 1 tsp soda
  • 1 tsp vanilla

Instructions
 

  • Cook to a hard boil.
    2 cups sugar, 1 cup white syrup, ½ cup water
  • Add and cook til golden brown and very brittle in cold water.
    2 cups raw peanuts
  • Keep stirring.
  • Remove from fire, add vanilla and soda.
  • Stir good and spread immediately on cookie sheet.
  • Spread thin.
