This makes a pretty bread
Cook Time 1 hour 25 minutes

Ingredients
  

  • 3 eggs
  • 1 cup sugar
  • ½ cup Brazil nuts
  • 1 bottle maraschino cherries and juice
  • 1 ½ tsp baking powder
  • 1 ½ cups flower
  • ½ cup dates
  • ½ cup walnuts
  • 1 bar bakers sweet chocolate

Instructions
 

  • Beat eggs, add sugar, flour and baking powder.
  • Add all fruits and nuts (whole – do not cut them)
  • Bake at 250º-300º for 1 hour and 25 minutes
  • Serve with butter.

Ingredients
  

  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 4 cups flour
  • 1 cup nuts chopped
  • 1 1/2 cup milk
  • 6 tsp baking powder

Instructions
 

  • Mix all together.
  • Let rise for 20 minutes.
  • Bake in moderate oven for about 45 Minutes.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup flour scant
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 tbsp cooking oil

Instructions
 

  • Combine milk, flour, oil, and salt.
  • Beat on high speed for 1 minute.
  • Add eggs one at a time and beat for 10 seconds
  • Grease tins
  • Put in cold oven
  • Bake at 425° for 35 minutes (DON'T PEEK!)
  • Then, the last five minutes, poke with a fork twice to let the steam out.
